Established in 2000, Cutech is an Italian biotech company focusing on skin problems, with a mission to investigate any opportunity offered by emerging technologies and different types of interdisciplinary research. This gives Cutech a constantly original and creative research approach both in perfecting skin and hair follicle models, and in looking for new active ingredients. Cutech can rely on a team of competent and highly-motivated scientists, extremely flexible organization, a state-of-the-art technological platform and valued relationships with a select network of consultants, as well as business and clinical partners. THE TEAM Research applied to study of the skin, hair follicles in particular, is a niche subject requiring specialist knowledge and an ability to select and obtain information from different research fields. Cutech has been acquiring this by recruiting scientists from very diverse research fields who have strengthened the team with their own personal skills and who have, in turn, received training in the specific core field of the company. As a consequence, the research team has an extremely targeted know-how, whilst maintaining a marked aptitude for flexibility. The fact that the team includes people with skills uncommon to traditional research structures in the field of dermatology gives Cutech the capacity to adopt an original approach to the most diverse issues, opening up new horizons which are often precluded to big companies with large, but less flexible, research structures. *
