Aber Instruments (Aber) founded in 1988, is a world-leading supplier of on-line biomass measurement for monitoring and control of cell culture. Aber’s long-established technology is based on a unique method for biomass measurement using cell capacitance developed and patented by Professor Douglas Kell and Dr Robert Todd from the University of Aberystwyth and the Centre for Alternative Technology.
