Coulter Partners, the global experts in Executive Search and Leadership Development in Life Sciences, Health and Tech, announces the opening of its new office in Milan and two additional key appointments. Francesca Lazzarin joins as Executive Director and Giuliana Milioto as Research Associate. We will be announcing two further appointments next week. They will all work across Europe with a particular focus on the Italian market, alongside recently appointed Yasemin Holland, Senior Research Associate. These new colleagues will particularly enrich the firm’s offering to companies growing from Italian headquarters and those expanding into Italy.

Italy is seeing major growth in businesses underpinned by cutting edge science and technology, thanks to a history of world-class research and innovation, academic centres and hospitals of international renown, and a growing financing and leadership ecosystem. Examples of recent successes include significant breakthrough progress in cell and gene therapies, rare and genetic diseases.

Francesca has a track record in supporting clients with a wide range of functions from commercial operations to R&D, spanning multiple therapeutic areas. She joins from nearly nine years at Korn Ferry, most recently as Client Partner and Sector Leader R&D, Pharma & Biotech EMEA. Prior to this, she worked at Ken Clark International and Euromedica. Before moving into Executive Search, she started her career in the pharmaceutical industry in GSK’s HR department. Francesca holds a Degree in Science of Formative Processes & Psychology from the University of Verona and is fluent in both Italian and English.

Yasmin brings a wealth of experience gained working on senior level international assignments within Life Sciences across Europe, US and Africa. She previously worked as a freelance Executive Search Consultant on a global basis covering a range of functional areas including operations, R&D and clinical research. Yasemin gained earlier experience as a Researcher at Boyden Executive Search and RSA Executive Search. With native Turkish, fluent English and advanced Italian, she
holds a First-Class Honours degree in Statistics coupled with further studies towards an MBA from Yildiz Technical University, Istanbul.

Giuliana joins from Korn Ferry where she was most recently Associate Life Sciences EMEA, Professional Search. She has a master’s degree in International HR Management and a BA in Linguistic and Cultural Mediation. She is a native Italian speaker, with fluency in French and English.
