AdBio Partners, a venture capital company specialized in company building and early-stage investments in Life Sciences startups, announces that, as part of the development of its senior investment team, has appointed Emma Gasol, PhD, as Investment Director.

In this new role, Emma Gasol, based in Paris and Barcelona’s offices, will be working with the partnership to identify and realize new investments across Europe and strengthen the current portfolio of AdBio Partners, which currently manages two funds invested in 23 companies.

Gasol is a seasoned pharma/biotech professional with a broad experience in business development & transactions, portfolio strategic management, equity investment in innovative projects in Life Sciences. She holds a PhD in molecular biology from the University of Barcelona, a M.B.A. from Esade, and brings 23 years’ experience in Life Sciences’ industry.

Prior to joining AdBio, Emma served as Director of Innovation Scouting in the External Innovation and Corporate Venturing unit at Grifols, and previously as Director of Corporate Development and Licensing at Gebro Pharma.
